I suggest that you submit to not only DOMZ but many smaller directories search engines often look through directories and index many URLs via the directories, it is often easier to raise you PR through directories because they offer free Links without and backlinks needed, also if you use wordpress to power anypage of your site go into your administration panel>options>writing>and Update services and enter the following list into the box:

That will instantly give you many many free incoming links without any need to backlink.
