The one and only way to promote you site:is to
Submit to all major search engines like Google, Yahoo & MSN.
The one and only is Google...this will be enough...
Afterwards, visit their search pages you will get the links to submit site.

And put some Keywords of your submission in Head Section of your webpage...and it will do it.
