Hello my friends
Today i will show you how to create another game layout with an unusual shape. I will try to teach you as many methods i can to create unique layouts.

Soon this marathon will end, and i will start another one. I will not tell you how many tutorials i will create in my future marathon
This is what we gone do today
Start a new document in photoshop
The size should be 800 x 700 pixels
background color: #29251c
Select Rectangle Tool, and make 2 shapes on your layout ( next image is zoomed out to 66 % )
We will create a new pattern because we will need it
Open a new document in Photoshop
This document should be 40x40 pixels with a transparent background.
Now create a new layer ( Press CTRL+SHIFT+ALT+N )
Select Paint Bucket Tool and fill this layer with black ( this layer we will delete at the end of the tutorial )
Now zoom your document to 1600 %
Create another layer ( press CTRL+SHIFT+ALT+N )
Select Pencil tool. Change the brush size to 1 pixel and make the following drawing whith a white color.
The next image is zoomed by 1600 %
Delete the black layer
Then Go to Edit > define pattern
Chose a name for your pattern and click ok
Then return to the layout document. Select Rectangular marquee Tool and make a selection
Create a new layer ( press CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+N )
Select paint bucket tool
Set the settings as in the following image ( use the pattern from above )
Then click one time inside the selection
Press on the " Add layer mask button "
Select Gradient Tool
Set the foreground color to black, and the background color to white
And start drawing a simple vertical line ( follow the red arrow )
Then reduce the opacity for this layer with diagonal lines
Select Rounded Rectangle tool ( set the radius to 3 pixels ) and start drawing a shape
please use the following color for this shape #1e1a0f
Then add a image with some clouds
Then Change the layer mode to Vivid Light
The next step is to add more details. for example i will add a lighthouse
Then i will add some grass. this you can add with some brushes or just simply search with google some nice " bushes "
In my case i have used a grass brush. I am sure you can find some good brushes over the internet. One day i will post some of my brushes
Then make a selection like me. be sure you have the layer with the green grass selected,
then press delete on your keyboard. And deselect your selection ( to deselect press CTRL+D )
Now create some buttons on your layout
Then add the following layer styles for this buttons. In the same time with the Type tool, create also some text, and place it on your button
As i have told you i will add also some text on the buttons, and i will add also in another part of the layout. this is a very simple task ( With the Type tool ) you can add text where do you think it fits better
Then i will add some images, and a square ( with Rectangle Tool ) For this rectangle tool use the following layer style
This is the result
Then add another details. Select Rounded Rectangle tool ( set the radius to 5 pixels ) and make some shapes on your layout
Then add the following layer stles
Add the same layer styles for all the shapes and you will get this result
You can see that i have added also another text. This small squares are perfect for images, i don't have right now some images , that's why i have used this shapes
Now select Type Tool, and write some minus dots " ...... "
rasterize the type ( Go to Layer > Rasterize > Type )
And place the doted line like me
Then add a text logo and i think you are done with this layout
