after you create the new shape and then duplicate the layer, it copies the entire layer, so when i resize the gradient colors on the smaller image is noticeable. am i doin something wrong?

well you know for creating shapes, there are 3 options on the top where it lets you create a shape layer, path selection, and fill pixels... do i just create a new layer separate from the background for this to work?

k i just read the tutorial again... i guess i did miss another create layer.. well at least im on my 3rd post now
