There are so many eBooks about adsense that shown the owner earn more than $1000 a day is it true?

there are people out there making an absolute stack of cash - but they are the exception not the rule.

I know this is not what you want to hear but most people make don't do it right from the start and so don't make much.

Any tips on how you built those sites up and how many visitors you get?

I have about 10 sites now and make between $1-$6 per day!!
However, my sites are not very original.

I have my sites built out of plr and reprint rights articles. Content is not original.

The sites are built with wordpress and in some cases with xsitepro. They are all 3 column design, with the left column holding 160x600 ads, and the content area with 336x280 ads above the fold. The right column serves as the navigation menu.

The placement of the ads is simple enough. I get clickthrough rates of about 30% on the ads.

I drive traffic through adwords, which i took the time and trouble to master. I am able to get low cost per click by optimizing my adwords ads and the landing pages.

Each ad campaign I run on google adwords gives me about 400-500 visitors per day at a cost per click of 0.04 on an average. 50-60% of this traffic arrives at my landing page. I have not studied the stats, but I guess about 30-40% of these visitors end up clicking on the adsense ads. Again, on an average, each such site gives me about $20 profit per day, after adwords costs.

I see this more as a numbers game. If a site gives me, say, $5 per day profit, to reach an income goal of $300 per day, I have to build 60 sites. Luckily, some of my sites give me a better profit.

I don't mess with market research etc. I just plunge in and put up a site on any topic and run an adwords campaign. The only criteria is that the topic should have enough ads on google to make it worthwhile.

I let the ads run for a week, and then study how much the site makes me. I found there are sites that give me only $1 profit, and some at $40 profit per day. I don't dump the ones that give me lesser profit. I just let them run.

As my traffic is mainly through adwords, I discovered that making money out of adsense is more a game of how to master adwords, to be really effective in earning on adsense. I spent time, money and energy on mastering adwords and staying ahead of competition.

Adsense noob here, im wondering:

1. Has there been a recent crackdown on pure adsense sites?

2. How do you make the adsense related to you content ?(For example gaming adsense for a gaming site)
