3D vista software box

Hello

Today i will create Tutorial number 114 from 500 Tutorials Marathon.

I have switched to Windows Vista and to be honest i really like it. I recommend you to switch to vista because it is the most stable windows.
I am running from 2 weeks and i had no error yet.
Before you consider upgrading to Vista you should have at least 2 Gb of RAM and a dual processor in order to run it without problems

If you are working with 3D image processing software like 3Dsmax or maya you should have 4 GB of RAM.

Today i want to show you how to create a 3D box like vista boxes.

So let's start with a new document:
size: 800 x 800 pixels
Background color : White

I have included for you a custom shape so you can start designing your own 3D vista boxes
For this you need to register and you can download the following custom shapes from the bottom of this tutorial.

Load the shape in Photoshop

Select Custom Shape Tool , Then click on the small arrow near your custom shape icon

Then select Load Shape

Browse after the Custom Shape file , then press Open

then with Custom Shape tool Create a box on your canvas.
While dragging please hold the Shift key pressed.

Note : You can use the Pen tool if you don't want to use my Custom Shape

For this shape add the following layer styles ( you can download the PSD file and it is no need to create this layer styles ) but if you want to start doing this gradient alone you are welcome

This is my result

Select Custom Shape Tool and create another Shape ( a smaller one )

For this last shape use the following color: #1f1f1f

Now add the following layer style

Now Select pen Tool and create a new path ( i will create this path with a blue color so you can see better what i am doing

Then drag this layer right above the background layer ( Change the color for this layer to BLACK )

Now select one more time the Custom Shape tool
Set the foreground color to : #777777

Then change the opacity to 15 %

Then drag this layer right above the background layer.This is my result

Select the Custom Shape Tool again and create another shape.This layer must be on top of all layers

The same for this layer set the opacity value to 15 - 20 %

Now it is time to add some details. I will add talk-mania's logo.
You can use what ever you want

Now we will add a perspective view for our text and logo layers
In this step you can press CTRL+T to change the angle
or you can select each layer and use the perspective transformation ( Edit > Transform > perspective )

now if you want you can add your own details .
