This tutorial is brought to you by Hot-Computers. ( we will wait mor tutorials from our member ) Today i will show you how to create a signature. Open a new document by pressing (Ctrl+N). Set the Width to 600 pixels and the Height to 300 pixels. Select the Paint Bucket Tool and fill your canvas with this color: #1e2a44 Create a new Layer (press Ctrl+Shift+Alt+N) Select the Rectangular Marquee Tool and use these settings ![]() Then press one time on the canvas.You will notice that we have a selection.We need to fill our selection with this color #dec893 (you can fill your selection with your Paint Bucket Tool) ![]() Now create a new Layer (press Ctrl+Shift+Alt+N) Go to Select > Modify > Contract. on this window use : Contract by 5 pixels, and press ok Now fill this selection with #414141 ![]() Now we will create a pattern. Open a new document with a transparent background (size 3 x 3 pixels) Grab the Pencil tool and at the top of the screen you will see the pencil options. Click on the down arrow next to Brush: and change the diameter to 1 px Then draw something like me. I have used a black color to make you understand what you need to draw but please note that we need a white color. First you should resize your 3x3 document to 1600 %. you can do this from the navigator panel. Then make something like this. ![]() Now go to Edit > Define pattern and name it whatever you want. For more infos how to make patterns and how to use them you can look here: Professional Patterns for General Use Now select the grey rectangle and let's apply a layer style.Please use these settings: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Until now this is what i have ![]() Select rectangular Marquee Tool and Make a selection like this: ![]() Then with the grey layer selected press delete one time.You can move your selection with the arrow keys and make something like me ![]() You can use also rounded selections, or you can transfor selection and like above press each time you thing you are in the right place. This is a technique i like most. It is very easy and the outcome is great. I have played a little and this is what i have. ![]() I hope you like it. Thanks
