Transform a Girl into a Robot

Hello
We continue with the 100 Tutorials Marathon
For new members this means that each day i will post a new tutorial.

So let's start
Please register and download the folowing 3 images from the bottom of the page. We will need this to make this tutorial.
This are the images we will need first one is with Maggie Grace ( a very nice girl ) , the second one is with a space shuttle , and the last one is with a circuit board:

Create a new Layer. ( press Shift+Ctrl+N )
Select Pencil Tool and make a drawing like me. The next will be a guide for our next steps.

Now create another layer ( press Ctrl+Shift+N )
Select the Pen Tool and make the following drawing:

And now the last point should be over the first point ( please notice that a small circle will apear )

After that Keep the Ctrl key pressed and click one time on the layer like on the following image:

You will notice that you have created a new selection.
Now with this selection turn all the layers to invisible
To make a layer invisible you have to click on the small eye near the each layer ( please notice the small red circle - there you have to click):

Now select the background layer from the layer palette and press : Ctrl+Shift+J ( this will create a new layer via cut )

Do the same for the other part. Then with the arrow keys move this 2 layer like mine:

Now we will need the space shuttle image:
Open the image and with the move tool place it over this image:
Drag the layer over the background layer and change the opacity to : Difference

Then place the image , rotate it like me:

The select the Erase tool and start deleting the part we don't need:

Now you have to add some shadows and the Robo Girl is ready.
You can create the same for the arm

I think you should include a zip with the 3 images in the original size attached also

Please download robot.zip and you will find the images in the original size.
If you don't like the images try to fins some with google image

This is an excellent Tutorial...
I was just looking for a new kind of Tut, to teach the students...and I got it...
I've just to translate it....
Can I use it ??? If Yes..thanks a Lot...
