i converted several names in a list to buttons in an mc but now i came to the conclusion they did not work, is there a way around this. Because you can't see the names (or buttons) when you are not in the mc. I have to go dubbelclick to go in the mc and then i can see the names and convert them.
i hope somebody understands what i'm talking about;

Im not sure i understand properly but couldn't you just make the buttons in scene 1 not in the movieclip?
