Dreamweaver Extensions
These are snippets of code in varying forms they make doing work quicker.
1. Check out HELP>EXTENSION MANAGER in Dreamweaver's Help.
2. Make sure you have a current Extension Manager.
3. Some are free, some time based, some cost.
4. Adobe exchange is good to start with.
5. BE CAREFUL...these things can be a bit dodgy. If you can see them in action first.
6. I use them (free ones) in this way. Download one at a time. Open a new site. Try it out. Copy the code or tags, or whatever, then save is a .TXT format, for later use.
7. Most of them are written as a one off use.
8. When it was MACROMEDIA these were a way of exchanging code/routines etc.
9. For some good stuff try SMASHING MAGAZINE smashingmagazine.com, or a real helpful CSS site - stylegala.com - mandarindesign.com
These places are not using extensions but they are awsome for the good stuff.
