Glowing Text
Hello and welcome to our first tutorial. In this tutorial I will show you how to make a glowing text animation using Flash. This tutorial was made by me and it was posted on my site. But I though maybe I should teach you this.

First step is to open up a new document.

Press CTRL+J and have the following settings.


Press (T) to use the text tool and make a big, bold, white text on stage like so.


Now select the text and press F8 to convert it to a symbol and have following settings.


Click on frame 10 of "Layer 1" press F6 to add a key frame there. Now click on frame 5 of the "Layer 1" press F6 to also add a key frame there. Now that you did that "Layer 1" Should look like this.


NOTE :make sure the red bar in the timeline is on frame 5 if not click there.

Select the text and goto Window>Properties>Filters. When you do that it will change the panel from the bottom and say Filters. If it doesn't then goto Window>Properties>Filters again until see a panel like this on bottom.
and then click on the "+" icon, and select glow. and have following settings.


Finally right click on Frame 1 and click on "Create motion tween" do the same in Frame 5. PRESS CTRL+ENTER to check your creation out . I hope you learned some thing.
