I'm a 16-year old Australian who became interested in Photoshop when I started mucking around with my dad's copy. I came across Talk Mania in my search for tutorials, and so I signed up.

Welcome, How's Australia? never been there before

At the moment, where I live (Blue Mountains) its drizzling and fairly cool, but I just flew back from Melbourne, where it oscillated between muggy and warm and freezing cold (Victoria is the state of four seasons in one day). Melbourne's currently smoky because there are some very large, out-of-control fires burning nearby.

Despite the rain, we still have drought conditions and there are water restrictions in place. These really don't affect urban or suburban areas very much, but there are many farmers who now depend entirely on government funding to survive (and some are being paid to leave farming and take up another profession).
