Tool to check broken link?

I have a list of institutions on my web site,...Many of the links are not working now,...Is there any tool I can use to check the broken link as visitor click on such a page results in Page not found error. It is really difficult to check every link manually.

try using http://validator.w3.org/checklink , I use it all the time

If you use Firefox, make sure to get the web developer add-on it also has a link validation tool that works really good too!
