Copying would be the easy way I suppose but just seeing the actual layout helps provide an idea of how it goes together.

Place a rectangular white shape with two opposing corners rounded above a gradient background.
Apply a drop shadow or dark outer glow to the rectangle.
Add a layer of brushes here and there and remove the sections of drop shadow/glow from areas where the brushes join, to give the appearance they're an extended part of the top rectangle shape.


I could be wrong about how it was done but it's all about trial and error.
PLUS I've learned something new!

Tried it the way I thought it was made and it came out pretty good.
(at least the full sized layout looks good)
