I think there got to be a request forum too where newbies graphic designer should post their problems and get a reply from a members who know how to do the trick in photoshop correctly.
More over i think a new system should be started with points those members who make some suggestions the owner of the question should mark the suggestion which he think had helped him more thus generating points for members and the the members who have more points should be rewarded.

Add the following category:
Funstuff (place where game and joke are posted etc).
General Talk (place where user discuss about everyday life affair).
User Showcase/Gallery (place where users post finished work with some eviden of work with screen shot of file or progress).

Sorry if others had already posted what you guys posted, I didn't read others posts.

1. i like if u can make a normal webpage photoshop tut and another with the css code in the design, this will help allot of us. Some dreamweaver tut.
2 the type of file that i need is brushes. why brushes can give u a change in the webpage.
3.begin,med, Advance categories. i love to see some vid tut that will be very cool that help some times.i want to see css coding in actuation thnks

Ans-1: The Most important category, i think, will be web design training and certification. Also, if it is possible, to provide members with a small amount of space so that they can put there portfolios their.
Ans-2: Mostly we need psd version of toturials posted on talk-mania forum. also, styles and themes are needed.
Ans-3: The last suggestion is, Try to start training of web designing, if it possible, on advanced web 2 standards

Answer: Categories such as "Tutorials From All Over The World (Cause for example I am from Bulgaria and there are many cool photoshop artist with great free tuts)". Other type of category that would be cool is "Artist Competitions" with competitions like best try on a tutorial or best tutorial and many others. Another interesting category would be "Photoshop Links" which will contain interesting links with tuts and other cool free stuff. A "Software Skins"will e a perfect category too cause it will contain a lot of unique skins for Winamp or other software.

2. What type of files do you need. ( ex : photoshop brushes , skins, themes, styles, psd )
Answer: Stock photos database... it could be done pretty easily using the forum, and it could be open for all users to add stock photos (which are a huge part of the photoshop retouching)... and again add a game like a Stock Photo Of The Week or something.

3. Another suggestion
Another good suggestion (which is not really connected wth the forum itself) is... Lets make our own Skype Chat Room with the best tutorials shown on a webcam or just talk about cool stuff and meet new friends... share news... do whatever our community decides!

Well, personaly i love the forum allready,
But i think a forum, about explaining, and showing all the posible tools, things on photoshop, even all the possibilities from the menu line at the top, that would be a quite usefull, intresting thing, becouse i dont know what most things do from above there, i know how to make a nice picture useing brushs, gradients, styles but im sure thats not even 5% of all possibilites from photoshop.

I know it would be quite a bit of work, but at the same time, it would worth it i belive.

!!! Or a forum, where people describe a style, brush, shape and you make it, this way if people got ideas of shapes, brushes, they describe it and you make it come alive!!! i think this would be a GREAT sucsess!!!

Mostly, i LOVE the perspectives you have, so i would love to have some more of thoose and some shapes.

Photoshop Actions, Styles, Gradients , Themes and skins , all is free for download. in this way we will find all here on talk-mania

Nothing. the forum is already very good. maybe if you will use promotion on vbulletin, for example let the users download something only if they create 20 posts, and have an overall green rating

I think T-M should generalise more. I think that the site would benefit from an increase in traffic if forum catagories such as media related (TV, music etc)

I would definetly appreciate some skins for popular forums such as PHPbb and SMF

Maybe a shoutbox at the top of the forum? Might encourage more general chat/interactivity. Although it may slow down the forum loading time a little, it may attract more regular posting members.

Lastly, in my opinion, talk mania is currently a one-stop-shop for most people. There are only a few that come back and post multiple times. Also, general chat seems dead, the activity needs to pick up in here, maybe by introducing the forum section i mentioned above.
