vector sig
1)start off with a 400x150 white page
2) use some grundge or abstarct brush and brush black, then white on a new layer and repeat until you liek ehat you have. ![]() 3) Load your vector brush ( you can download them at deviantart.com, im using VPdesigns_vector_art_brush_set_1) and add some brushing mostly where your render will go. Then add your render ![]() 4) Duplicate your render 3-4 times and use a motion blur on all of them except the original render. go to filter- blur- motion blur and set the blur to 60 or -60 and use any distance you want. ![]() set that layer to overlay and if its not dark enough duplicate it a few times. i got this after the duplicate ![]() 5) put tour render back on top of all layers and sharpen it 1-2 times depending on how you like it. Filter- sharpen- sharpen. ![]() 6) Now add some text. Im using Arial font (i like simple fonts) with a 14pt size and for the last letter ( the C) i used a color from my render. The underneath i added another text in a color from my render but this time with 12pt size. ![]() 7) Then i took out the vector brush again and underlined the text with a brush using white, set it to overlay and duplicated it 3 times. 8) then i added scan lines going from top left to bottom right. to do this i opened a new 4x4 transparent page, i zoomed in to the max (1600) while using a black 1px pencil i did 4 squares in a diagonal line from top left to bottom right. then i went on edit- define pattern clicked ok then closed it. then i opened a new layer on my sig, clicked ctrl+a at the same time to select the sig. i went to edit-fill and chose my pattern that i made. You can lower the opacity to what you like and set that layer to over lay. 9) now make a new layer, select the sig ( ctrl+a) and add a 1px border. To do this go on edit-stroke and make the color black, select the size to 1px and click ok. and thats it. here is my final result ![]() other sigs i made using same technique ![]() ![]() I made this tuturial fast so if im missing anything plz let me know
