Today We Will create a yellow-blue button like the following




start out photoshop with the following image properties



now select the Rounded Rectangle tool and use the following preferences


then make a button-like selection like the following



Then Right Click on that layer in the layers panel and click on blending options



Use the following values instead of the default ones









now you should have something similar to this



Now Right Click on that layer and click Duplicate layer


Your Layers Panel Should now look like this



Now Right Click on that latest Layer (the duplicate) and do Rasterize Layer



Now Select The Rectangular Marquee Tool And make a selection like mine



You Should end up with something like this



Now Right Click on the Duplicated Layer and do Blending Options



Use the following settings









now you should have something similar to this



Then Select the text tool and add a yellow + sign

There you go a beautiful button
