This is our finished product:


Lets make an outlined, oldtime logo:
1.)First we open up a new document(File>New). I used 400 x 100,
but you can use whatever you want

2.)Then we set our Background color. For this tutorial
I used #D4CE6A, but again you can use whatever you want.

3.)THIS is my starting document:


4.)Add some text (I used Freestyle Script):


5.)Flatten the Image(Layer>Flatten Image)

6.)Right-click on your background and duplicate the Layer:


7.) Time to add the outline. Go to Filter>Artistic>Paint Daubs...
Add the following settings:


It should now look like this:


8.)NOW go to Filter>Texture>Texturizer...
Add these Settings:

This is you're finished product:

And you're done!
