that's my first time in writing tutorials so I hope you like it.
in this tutorial I'm going to make an alien head that can be used in web or as a smilie.

1.open new document 800x800, and make a awhite shape like this:



2.add this inner glow:



3. than draw a black shape like this for the eye:



4. add outer glow for the eye:



5.duplicate the eye layer, and flip it horizontly to make the other eye.

6. now we going to add a shine for the eye, so start by drwing this shape over the eye:



7. add gradient overlay:



8. you need to duplicate, flip and get it over the other eye.

9.now you have to draw a new shape like this:



10.add outer glow:



11.now you might like to change the color a bit so you can use a hue/saturation layer, and don't forget to check the colorize box, here what I used:



11. it's done. I hope you like it.
