request in using " Slice Tool " plz help me

hello all

i have small problem with this tool i hope to find the solve
the problem thats i want to use this tool with no square or rectangle look
i just want to custom it to fit my button
for example i have button in my page
but when i use Slice Tool to cut it here is the result

and i want only the text only
because now it take small piece from the header

sorry it was hard to explain because my english not good
but i hope you can understand and help me

i think i need to Rotate the Slice Tool

so is it ok now ?

It's technically not possible to do that with the slice tool.

The slice tool creates a table with every slice being a cell. Cells can only be rectangles (and squares, but squares are rectangles) so getting another shape isn't possible.

have u tried to just save the text as a png with a tranparent back round and just have a one cut button for the menu to use as a background. so that all the buttons are the same length.

I agree with the above.

Just hide everything else incuding background and save the button as a .png file....

the slice tool is there for converting psg to css/xhtml.
what you might be looking for is the (marquee? tool, the square tool withthe dotted edge)
if you use that i think you can rotate it =)
