Just a quick little and very usefull tutorial.

1.
create a new image.


2.
Make a 1px square in the middle.


3.
Edit>Define pattern.


4.
Save it.


5.
apply on any image


i find the scanlines very usefull. i hope you do too.

First of all, Sorry to you.
Today I submitted an Exercise/Tutorial, where I teach how to create a pattern, and in the same I show how to create Lines pattern and apply it, just like your Tutorial here.
I did'nt check out before submitin mine...otherwise I would'nt submit it....so that's why I say sorry...
I normally teach this effect in classroom, and I thought it would be interesting, but you were the first to submit it.
