Hello

We have created another Photoshop actions for our VIP members

First Apply for a VIP subscription and you can download this set of actions

As you will see in my following tutorial this action will create a software box very very easy. just in 2 steps. If you don't believe me then follow my next tutorial on how to use actions in photoshop

After you open photoshop, load the action. To load the action click on the small arrow near the action palette




Browse the action you have downloaded from the bottom of this thread. You will see that a new action group will be visible in your action palette.



Set the foreground color to a red color . This will be your CD / DVD color
Then select Step 1 and press the play button



Now photoshop will create a new document for you. You will see something like this ( this image is resized to 400x400 pixels )
The original image is 1600 x 1600 pixels ( 300 DPI )



Now add some details on your CD / DVD ( do not delete any of my layers ) add your layers above mine



Then select Step 2 and press play



After photoshop will run you will get this result



Now you can press on each step to see a different result
( please notice that you must have selected the first document, or the document you have added your details on the CD / DVD ) then you can test each step

Now i will choose " Step 2 with shadow " After the action will run you will have this result



Then for the action : " Step 2 - Perspective with border "
This is the result



The next image is for the action named : " Step 2 - Perspective "



The next photoshop action : " Step 2 - 2 CD-DVD " will create the following result



Soon i will create another actions .

very good tutorial. I think maybe I am stupid but when I try to run step 2 and it gets to "Apply style" style 81 it says it can't find style 81. Where can I get style 81?

The actions has been tested and it works very good.

Please close your photoshop, then open it again. Then try to run the actions one more time

But please look carefully what you have in photoshop actions palette
You have

Step 1
Step 2
Step 2 with shadow copy
Step 2 - Perspective with border
Step 2 -Perspective
Step 2 - 2 cd-dvd

When you run it be sure you play " step 1 "
Then press any of the second step you want to achive the desiered ef

Do not play "Step 1" > Then "Step 2" > then "Step 2 with shadow"

This is the right way to play the actions
Step 1 > Step 2
Step 1 > Step 2 with shadow
Step 1 > Step 2 Perspective with border

Sorry, this belongs to a novice category.
I load the Action. When I play Step 1, it plays OK all the way to the first 'Make text layer' line. There it stops with error message: Could not complete the command because of a program error. The same error comes up if I try to play the second 'Make text layer' command. When I then try to play any of the second steps, I get the 'cannot find style 81' error, mentioned in one of the previous posts. What am I missing, doing wrong, or plain do not understand?
