Woah, I would never recommend submitting your site to google. If you need to actually submit a site there, then the odds are that google will reject you. If your site is quality, your best bet is to let google come to you.

SEO by itself will not get you instant traffic,,,it can take a long time to get any decent search result positioning,,,much more important than any page ranking.

You need to optimize every web page for a specific keyword phrase, but also you must get links to your site.
