My site has now been online just over 5 months and still it has not been indexed on google, i have another site and i got that indexed in less than two weeks. The new site that is not indexed on google is indexed in almost all the other major search engines.......how do i find out whats wrong with it?

And does google work different to the other search engines?

If you have this please tell me what you have inside

What host are you using ?
Your websites are using the same host ?

yeah a host can make or break you sometimes a spider wont stick around if you site is slow. also like the admin said what is in your robots.txt. but from what i have seen google does take a bit of time to show up on there search.

If you know what are you doing , normally your website should be indexed in maximum 3 days

by google? can you please explain how that is done on a new site? cause I run vbulletin like this site and and have vbseo and I have never seen one person get put in the search engine that fast.

Do not submit your website only with your script installed.
First create the categories , then add alone some unique posts

The biggest mistake is that almost all webmasters want their website in google very fast, and they submit the website only with the script installed.

this is not good, because google looks on your website and it will be confused. he knows that the same script was installed also on another server. If google bot see 2 identical websites , then you can be banned

Another tip is to place google adsense ads . Your website will be visited by google bot very very fast. When you have the first impression loaded on your website, you have also the google bot on your website

Vbseo is good, if you install it after your website is indexed already
I will try not to add vbseo on my website, just to test what can i do without vbseo ( Each day i have over 300 pages indexed in google and i think this this very good)

I don't know why people having problem with this. On all my websites i have been indexed in google in less then 4-5 days

sorry about my late reply been busy...no i dont see such file under my public_html folder at all...and im using Siteground.com for my hosting.

Any suggestions?
