If one has about 40-50 websites, will interlinking to and from each site be SEO value less?

1) If the sites were hosted with the same hosting service, google can check IP.
2) But if all the sites are say, blogspot, does google check, from which IP the blogs are getting updated from?

I have many sites and I don't want to get penalised by google, so I need the clarifications.

actually i also linked from my own website, but i used the website from difference hosting. Until now, i got no problem with it. Im not sure if we link with the same hosting.

it would never hurt to exchange links from sites in the same ip. however it might not influence too much (for google). Yahoo will account those links.

i don't think that google got as far as logging the ip from where you logging in blogspot. YET!

im not sure about the site with the same ip..but im practice linking my own site but from a different hosting...until now..i'm not getting any problem from it.

If you link from the same hosting will have direct on your ranking because they have the same class C IP and Google can detect this. The reasons why search engine don't like it because linking your own websites that host on the same server is scam and some webmaster use this linking techniques to get high ranking on SERP.

SE are wise specially google.. maybe dont try it.. coz google see it as spam.
theres other way to get BL.. theres a lot of option you can choose from..
try those before you put on to risk.
