Thumbs up Why is still has no page rank?
Is it normal that after 4 months a site still has no page rank assigned to it or rather a rank of 0.

I have requested many links although many have not shown up yet when queried under line:sitedomain.

Just looking for input.

Depends of the quality of the website you are changing links.
For example i run talk-mania.com and also free-photoshop.com
I have placed a banner on top of the website and free-photoshop.com has PR4 in less then 1 month.
I suggest you to buy links from websites with a lot of indexed pages

I don't know, my PR is a 3 but I didn't buy a lot of links from websites. Just [free] search engines, directories, etc.

The advantage is very simple. you are visible for google on more pages. google comes to a random website with a lot of indexed pages and find your link. If google bot find more links with your website, he think your website is very important.

Try to buy links on forums. be sure you buy site wide links.

For example you can see that talk-mania has over 70 K indexed pages.

I checked mine and I had 3,480. WOO!

Now all I have to do is get about 70K more and we'll be tied...

It seems google has not assigned any page rank to your site, If you work on the quality of the content in your site and on the traffic, you will get a high page rank.
