If you have vBulletin then I reccomend a SEO program like Nova SEO or vBSEO.

firstly analysis your site & competitor site accurately

Then KW research
If your site is just on initial stage then try to target KWs with high search volume but of low competition

Then create title & meta tags

Validate HTML code

Submit sitemap

Create robots.txt

& then try to get good quality relevant link backs

Start with content first, which is most important.

1.Make sure all your keywords, titles, meta-tages follow good seo practice
2.Make sure you have a content rich site, and by content rich I mean TEXT, not images, and your content should be relevant to the products, and should be written for human visitors, not search engine bots.
