Create a bling bling test in photoshop

Hi friends,

In this tutorial I am going to teach you how to create a bling bling text in Photoshop using only a texture and a crystal image. I hope you will enjoy this tutorial.

Step 1
Create a new document in Photoshop with the size 1024 px by 768 px. Double-click on the "Background" layer to unlock it. Double-click on this layer again to open the Layer Style window and use the settings from the following image.

Step 2
Download this image, open it in Photoshop and move it into your document.

Step 3
Set the blend mode for the texture layer to Color Dodge and the opacity to 70%.

Step 4
Download this image and open it in Photoshop. Use the Pen Tool (P) to select the crystal like I did and then go to Edit > Copy (Ctrl+C).

Step 5
Create a new document with the size 123 px by 114 px and with a transparent background. Go to Edit > Paste to paste the crystal and use Free Transform (Ctrl+T) to scale this layer down.

Step 6
Go to Image > Adjustments > Hue/Saturation and set the Saturation to -100.

Step 7
Go to Image > Adjustments > Brightness/Contrast and use the settings from the following image.

Step 8
Finally, go to Image > Adjustments > Curves use the settings from the following image.

Step 9
Go to Edit > Define Pattern, name your pattern and click OK. Now you can save your image as a .PNG and then close it.

Step 10
Go back to your first document, select the Type Tool (T) and write something with white.

Step 11
Double-click on the text layer to open the Layer Style window and use the settings from the following image.

Step 12
Duplicate the text layer (Ctrl+J), right-click on the new layer and select Clear Layer Style. Then double-click on this layer to open the Layer Style window and use the settings from the following image.
