Dude, Admin...this layout is sick!
I love the look of the blue lights and the glowing effect you gave them...It's just an overall awesome design, you're too good man! I'm telling yah, your employeer must love having you around...unless of course you work for yourself (then you must love yourself )!Last edited by Shady1; 02-18-2007 at 06:09 AM. |

I give a 4/5 on the tutorial itself and
I give a 3.5/5 on the layout To tell you the truth, I'm not a big fan of the whole industrial or futuristic websites - I just dont find much use for them. They kind of look tacky and childish. I would say this particular one is incomplete, it is missing some greater details, which normally I would write off to save time, but it is sort of noticeable because of the background images used. I'd say some of the detail missing is around the glowing lights. The gradients of the casings were used, but they really need a pattern applied to them, to give them a more metallic look; especially the light at the top that has just a light grey casing. I would say the best result is the mesh at the top with the bullet holes (though some of your bullet holes got on to the object below it). This looks really nice. Modest |
