Hey Experienced Webmasters, I've got a question...

I'm looking for site content ideas that will get good amount of traffic and that will help me make money from Adsense and similar sponsors. I'm thinking about building a site for American and Canadian users. I just need some suggestions about what the site could be. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

This is a difficult one to provide an awser for.

I would generally state, that you should create a website either around your own interests.

Or a website about a subject that you know allot of people are interested in.

Ads (generally) are not usually a money earner untill you start getting 500+ users (frequent) ad maybe 1000+ visitors.

Before that, the ads you get will give you very little revenue.

But think long and hard about what you think would be a good website, and about what your "target audiance" is likely to want to see, read or watch.

For example:

A website like youtube.com gets millions of visits a day, and all it is, is a place to upload your videos?

A simple idea, can give you millions.

We work it like this.
Supply a small prize for our caption contest.....and you get a banner for a month.
Or we charge is its one of the big boys ?

look for a free article that will let you put it in your site of course with the authors confirmation

Some people use the free reprint articles from article directories like http://articles.simplysearch4it.com

I personally wouldn't do that though as 100's of sites are already using that content and will only give you duplicate non unique and original content. The more orignal and unique your content is the better.

Now a days proxy sites are getting good traffic.

You can try that if you like it.
